Nevada banned the box for state government jobs only, so a private employer here can still ask on the application.
Private employers Government jobs only The 2017 law holds the conviction question in state and local government hiring until late in the process. Nevada spells out in its employment discrimination chapter that this duty falls on government appointing authorities, not on private companies. The Las Vegas and Clark County policies cover their own hiring, so sealing a record under state law is your route with a private employer. Nev. Rev.
