A New Mexico employer cannot ask about your record on the job application, but they can ask as soon as they are talking with you about the job.
Private employers Covered Private employers were added to this law in 2019 and the rule covers the written or electronic application form only. An employer may still state on the application that a law or company policy could disqualify certain histories.
