Private employers Covered The law covers employers with fifteen or more full-time employees and skips employers who serve minors or vulnerable adults. It does not stop them from asking during that first interview and does not require them to weigh the offense against the job. Maryland lets local governments go further and they have: Montgomery County reaches employers with even one employee and holds the question until a conditional offer, Baltimore City does the same at ten or more employees, and Prince George’s County at twenty-five.
