Tucson and Phoenix cover their own hiring, and a 2025 reentry initiative again only asks private companies to volunteer. What Arizona does give you is one of the strongest record-clearing rights anywhere: once a record is sealed you may state in all instances that you were never arrested, charged or convicted, and a Certificate of Second Chance shields an employer who hires you from negligent-hiring claims.
